Q: When/where do we sign up?
A: Registration dates and locations are posted on the home and calendar pages at sspw.net. Registration sessions held at East Side Rec will be held at the pavilion.
Q: What are the cheer fees?
A: Registration fees are $65 for Flag level (5 and 6 years old) and $125 for Tackle level (ages 7 and up).
Q: What other costs should I expect to pay?
A: Necessary expenses for cheer: sneakers are $30-35, bodysuit is $15, bloomers are $7, hair bows are approx. $5, and cheer curls (only some teams) are $15. We will fit for these items the second week in August before a scheduled practice. Optional items are logo duffel bags, banquet tickets, competition tickets (cheerleaders are free), picture packages, competition T-shirts, etc. We will be having some Fundraising to cover a portion of all expenses.
Q: When/how often are the practices and games?
A: Flag level cheerleaders practice 3 nights per week in August and then drop to 2 nights per week during the school year. 2010 games will be scheduled to begin in September and are once per week on Saturday or Sunday.
Q: Where are practices held?
A: The 2010 practices begin on August 3 for Tackle level and August 10 for Flag. We will practice at East Side Rec.
Q: What should we bring to registration?
A: Filled out registration form and fee, copy of birth certificate, copy of physical dated 2010, copy of report card and photo (a school wallet size or snapshot is fine).
