Pop Warner Cheerleaders participate in practices, football games, and *cheerleading competition! Each individual squad works hard throughout the season to learn and perfect a cheer routine. All teams showcase their best (2:30) two minute and thirty second routine complete with music and cheering at the Glens Falls Civic Center, Glens Falls, NY, scheduled for October 10, 2010. For Flag and Mighty Mite teams this is an opportunity to show their best performance and they do not compete to move forward. For all other squads, the top 3 will advance to regional competition in each small and large category, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.
The Northeast Qualifier is held at Times Union Center in Albany, NY, scheduled for October 17, 2010. Winning squads from the entire Northeast Region will again perform their top (2:30) two minute and thirty second routine in hopes of winning. The top three squads in the region in each small and large category, Novice, Intermediate and Advance are invited to perform in the regional competition.
The regional competition is held in Trenton, New Jersey on November 13 & 14, 2010. Winning squads from the entire Eastern Region will again perform their top (2:30) two-minute and thirty second routine in hopes of winning. The first and second place squads in the region in each small and large category, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced are invited to perform at Disney’s Wide World of Sports™ in hopes of winning a national championship for their local association. The 2009 Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships will take place on Monday, December 6th through Friday, December 10th at Disney’s Wide World of Sports™ Complex.
Participants in the Pop Warner program are unique as opposed to those of other programs. While they are taught about the values of competition, they are also maintaining their grades at a satisfactory level. We salute all the efforts and accomplishments that our participants put forward!
